Auto Air Colors solve many
of the problems custom painters encounter such as: health, safety, and handling
concerns, time window limitations, delaminating, cracking, clear coat
incompatibility, etc.
4001 Auto Air Base Coat Sealer White & 4002 Auto Air
Base Coat Sealer Dark
Auto Air Base Coat
Sealer White and Dark are a low build, adhesive sealer coat. Base Coat Sealers
have higher adhesion properties that most other Auto Air Colors. They cover
well making them ideal for use as an initial coat.

4003 Auto Air Reducer
Reducer is intended for
thinning Auto Air Colors for use with smaller sized airbrushes. Although water
may be used up to 10% to thin Auto Air Colors, Reducer is recommended because
it adds binder to the colors as it thins them so the colors binder load
will not be washed out and the adhesive properties of the colors will not be
lost. When thinning Auto Air 4600 Series Candy Colors, use Auto Air Transparent
Extender. |

4004 Auto Air
Transparent Extender
Transparent Extender is the
binder base for all Auto Air Colors except for 4100 Series and 4200 Series
Detail and Semi-Opaque Colors. Transparent Extender may be added to colors to
increase transparency, allowing colors to have lighter values. Add in small
increments. May be added up to 25% of the mixture, after that the colors tend
to wash out as the pigment load is spread out. Not to be used with Auto Air
4200 Series Detail Colors. |

4005 Opaque
Extender
Opaque Extender is the
binder base for the 4200 Series Semi-Opaque Colors. Opaque Extender may be
added to color to increase opacity. Opaque Extender may increase the viscosity
of the color and is not recommended for use with smaller airbrushes and fine
detail work. Opaque Extender may be added up to 25% of the mixture, after that
the colors tend to wash out as the pigment load is spread out. Opaque Extender
should not be used with Auto Air 4200 Series Detail Colors nor should it be
used with 4300, 4400, 4500, and 4600 Auto Air Series. |

4006 Auto Air Catalyst
Catalyst is a specialty
additive that is often not necessary. It is designed to accelerate the
cross-linking process of the binder when the area worked on is too large for
curing with heat or in cold or damp conditions. Catalyst should be added in 2-3
drops per ounce and thoroughly mixed with the color. |
|
4007 Auto Air
Cleaner
Auto Air Cleaner is a
waterbased biodegradable cleaner used to clean airbrushes between color
changes. Directions: Rinse airbrush with water to remove excess color. Add

Series 4100 Aluminum
Base
Aluminum Bases are available
in three grades: Fine, Medium and Coarse. They are highly reflective and
intended for use as an undercoat for the 4600 Series Candy Colors. Aluminum
Bases may also be used alone for an aluminum-like, reflective finish or as an
undercoat for Series 4200 Transparent Colors for reflective, custom effects.
Use of the different grades against one another with a Candy Color top
application create fantastic effects.
Aluminum Bases are
recommended for use with airbrush sizes 0.5mm or larger. A 0.3mm size airbrush
may be used when thinned with Auto Air Reducer. Aluminum Bases cover quickly
and often only 1 coat is needed. Apply Aluminum Base over a coat of Base Coat
Sealer Dark to ensure the that they adhere properly to the surface. The 4000
Series Base Coat Sealers have better adhesion than the 4100 Series Aluminum
Bases. Aluminum Bases are made with heavy metallic flakes and may require
stirring in addition to thorough shaking prior to use.

Series 4400 Chameleon
Flair
Chameleon Flair Colors are
specialty effect pigment colors with angle-dependent, color traveling effects.
Chameleon Flair Colors have a soft flowing transition from one color into
another. Color travel is viewable under even subtle lighting and is further
intensified on curved objects with sharp contours.
Colors are best used against Auto
Air Base Coat Sealer Dark or 4200 Series Deep Black Graphic Colors. Apply 1-2
light coats of Auto Air Base Coat Sealer Dark and 2-4 coats of Chameleon Flair
Colors. Chameleon Flair Colors are recommended for use with airbrush sizes

is intended for application against a black background to enhance their
effects. Each may also be tinted with other colors to create custom chameleon
blends by simply mixing with Series 4200 Transparent Colors. Best effects are
achieved when tinted with blue and green shades. Chameleon Flair Tint Bronze
travels from red to gold to bronze and then into green. Chameleon Flair Tint
Violet travels from Lilac to Silver to Blue and then into Green. For more
effects, apply Chameleon Flair Colors over 4100 Series Aluminum Bases.
Series 4400 Hi-Lite
Interference Colors
Hi-Lite Interference Colors are
used over any background color for ghostlike, color-highlighting effects.
Hi-Lite Interference Colors are semi-translucent colors with a semi-gloss
finish. Hi-Lite Interference Colors are recommended for use with airbrush sizes
0.5mm or larger. A 0.3mm size airbrush may be used when colors are thinned with
Auto Air Reducer. Hi-Lite Interference are best used over darker colors, i.e.
4200 Series Deep Black or Auto Air Base Coat Sealer Dark.
Hi-Lite Interference Colors are
intended for use in very light layers of 1-3 coats. Their color-shifting effect
is less pronounced than the Gem Chameleon Colors. The colors work well for
subtle highlighting effects which are seen when exposed to sunlight or a direct
light source. Colors may be directly mixed with 4200 Series Transparent Colors
for custom blends that have subtle color-shifting effects. Building colors too
heavy will cause them to lose their effect and become a milky, pastel color.

bottles available upon special order

Air Base Coat Sealer Dark or Auto Air 4200 Series Deep Black Graphic

Colors are recommended for use with airbrush sizes 0.5mm or larger. A 0.3mm
size airbrush may be used when colors are thinned with Auto Air Reducer. Cosmic
Sparkle Colors are best used over Auto Air Base Coat Sealer Dark or Auto Air
4200 Series Deep Black Graphic Colors
Apply 1-2 light coats
of Auto Air Base Coat Sealer Dark and 2-4 coats of Cosmic Sparkle Colors. For
custom blends, apply 2-5 light coats of Auto Air 4200 Series Transparent Colors
over Cosmic Sparkle Colors. Cosmic Sparkle Colors may also be mixed directly
with each other for multicolor effects. For custom side-cast effects, use 4200
Series Semi-Opaque Graphic Colors as a base under Cosmic Sparkle Colors.
Below are all 4 oz bottles . 16 , 32 oz and gallon

Series 4600 Candy Colors
Auto Air Candy Colors are true
candy colors. Candy Colors are transparent, brilliant colors that allow the
underlying coat to interact with the light passing through the candy color. Use
Candy Colors over 4100 Series Aluminum Bases. Candy Colors may also be used
over Pearlized, Iridescent, Metallic, Cosmic, or Hot Rod Sparkle Colors for
candy effects. Candy Colors may be intermixed with one another for custom candy
blends.
It is important to work in very
lightly layered coats when working with Candy Colors. Often, 3-5 coats of Candy
Colors are applied. Candy Colors are recommended for use with a 0.3mm size
airbrush or larger. Thin Candy Colors with Auto Air Transparent Extender. Auto
Air Reducer is not recommended as it will make them crawl or
spider when sprayed. For maximum permanence, Candy Colors should be
coated with a clear that blocks UV rays.
Candy Colors are made with
automotive colorant dyes. Although Auto Air Candy Colors are non-toxic, they do
stain skin temporarily. It is recommended that latex gloves/gloves be used when
working with Candy Colors.
